Sexology

At Nexxmedis, we recognize that many difficulties in intimate life are not purely physical, they’re psychological, relational, or a combination of both.

Our sexology consultations offer a confidential space to understand and work through these difficulties, guided by a clinical sexologist trained in psychology and sexual health.

Support built around what you're going through

Meet Luminița Bunea

Luminița Bunea is a licensed psychologist and clinical sexologist, specialising in sexual and relational difficulties, individually and in couples therapy.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Bucharest (2004) and a University Certificate in Clinical Sexology from the Free University of Brussels (2013–2015).

She works in direct collaboration with your gynaecologist, so psychological and physical care move in the same direction.

Whatever you’re navigating, a specific difficulty, or something harder to put into words, you’ll leave each consultation with a clearer sense of the way forward, at your own pace.

Questions you may have before your first visit.

Is this different from seeing a gynaecologist or medical doctor?

Yes. This is psychological support for sexual and relational difficulties, not a medical consultation. There’s no physical examination, lab testing, or prescription involved.

If your concern also has a physical or hormonal component, we’ll help coordinate that separately with your gynaecologist.

No. Every consultation takes place in a confidential space, free of judgment, whatever brings you in.

Either is fine. Some concerns are worked through individually, others as a couple, this can also change over time.

No. You can book a consultation directly, whether your concern is new or something you’ve been living with for a while.

Yes. Every consultation is protected by professional confidentiality, separate from and equally protected as the rest of your care at Nexxmedis.
