Hormonal nutrition

Nutrition is treated as a clinical variable in gynaecology, not a lifestyle recommendation offered on the side.

At Nexxmedis, hormonal nutrition is delivered in collaboration with your gynaecologist.

Laura Selaru, registered pharmacist, brings a clinical background to nutritional care, reading blood work, medication history, and hormonal profile as one picture.

Questions you may have before your first visit.

Do I need a referral from my gynaecologist to book a consultation?

No referral is required. That said, Laura works in close collaboration with your gynaecologist, and with your consent, relevant findings can be shared between them so your care stays consistent.

No. The first consultation is a private, unhurried conversation about your history, your medication, and how you actually eat, not how you are expected to eat. Nothing you share is judged.

No. It works alongside the treatment prescribed by your gynaecologist or physician, targeting the metabolic and inflammatory mechanisms that diet can genuinely influence.

Any recent blood work, a list of current medication or supplements, and your gynaecologist’s contact details if you would like your care coordinated between them.

Yes. Consultations can be conducted in either language, whichever you are most comfortable in.

Yes. Many patients come with a specific situation in mind, such as PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, or menopause. The consultation is built around that concern from the first session.

A first consultation allows enough time for a full history, a review of your blood work, and a clear discussion of your plan, without feeling rushed.

Yes. Everything discussed during your consultation is treated with the same confidentiality as any medical appointment at Nexxmedis.
